September 24, 2018

Here are a few of the sights around us at the beach.  The Common Leopard Butterfly and the very lonely Morning Glory (it was the only one there) were near the path that passes through the dunes.

The Seagulls and the kites are a common site, while enjoying the 'pearly white sands and the Emerald green waters of the Florida Panhandle.'

September 23, 2018

It has been three days shy of one month since my last post.  My cataract surgery was not without some issues, but things are looking better.

We are in Destin, Florida for Linda's birthday.  We arrived Saturday and the water was a comfy 87 degrees.  The sunset and sunrise have been muted due to the clouds, but the sun has been shining during the day.

We stay at The Sea Oats Motel, which is older and more modest, but it is right on the beach and we can walk down the steps and be right on the beach.  The first picture was taken from our room.  Just for comparison, the last picture of the surf was taken on November 22, 2007.
