We are in Destin, Florida for Linda's birthday. We arrived Saturday and the water was a comfy 87 degrees. The sunset and sunrise have been muted due to the clouds, but the sun has been shining during the day.
We stay at The Sea Oats Motel, which is older and more modest, but it is right on the beach and we can walk down the steps and be right on the beach. The first picture was taken from our room. Just for comparison, the last picture of the surf was taken on November 22, 2007.
I love beach pics... it makes me want to go to the ocean. I am so glad that I live within a short drive to the beach. Sorry that you no long live that close but glad that you take the time to get to the ocean when you can... I am sure you appreciate it far more since you don't see it as often. Looks like Linda had an awesome birthday!!!!
