This past Saturday we were going to go to Washington, GA but a severe storm came through and was heading toward were we were going.  So we had a change of plans.  We took a two hour trip to the Brasstown resort for lunch and then to Helton Creek Falls.  We will go to Washington this coming weekend.

The first picture is the view that we enjoyed as we had a delightful buffet lunch.  We spent some time taking it all in and taking some pictures.  Go figure!  A few of the flowers, the lobby with it's fireplace and antler chandeliers, and the view as we left.

On the way to the falls, this little country church stood out atop of a hill.  

Then it was onto the falls.  There are two falls; the lower falls and the upper falls.  There are two pictures of the upper falls.  I had to tranverse the creek to get the second shot.  The picture in the middle of the two falls is the creek flowing over the rock formation.
